Icarus, a hardcore survival game, had a very rough start when it was released in 2021. The development team has made strides to fix a plethora of issues players complained about since day 1. The persistent timer on missions was just one of the features on launch that the devs threw in the garbage can. Open world changes to make it worthwhile to explore, AI changes, and brand new maps! Icarus has just dropped their most recent update titled “Update Week Sixty”. In addition to a massive amount of bug fixes and optimizations, you can now forecast weather patterns, which, might seem a little cosmetic, but adds to the immersion they’re going for. The weather system as a whole looks to have received a total face-lift! As a long-time player and supporter, this change was welcomed with open arms.
